Worm geared motors are single or two-stage angular gear motors with high-performance worm gearing. They represent the space-saving solution for simple applications in the low torque range as a result of their compact design with low height. They can be individually adapted to many drive situations due to the wide range of output shafts and mounting possibilities.

SIMOGEAR worm geared motors are available in the power range up to 15 HP (11 kW and rated gear unit torques up to 1,040 ft-lb (1,410 Nm).
