The University of Notre Dame Uses IDS

The Notre Dame Turbomachinery Laboratory (NDTL) uses a Siemens motor and VFD in a very creative application to help manufacturers build better turbines. The University of Notre Dame’s College of Engineering is nationally recognized for its programs and research. Its programs in aerospace and energy make it an excellent location for NDTL, which is located at Ignition Park with its wind tunnel turbine compressor plant. The kind of large-scale testing being done at the NDTL helps ensure the next generation of gas turbines will be more efficient than ever.
