Amanda Thompson received her Chemical Engineering degree from Bucknell University. She spent 3 years working in engineering and operations roles in the process industry before joining Siemens Industry, Inc. She's currently responsible for Siemens's simulation platform in the US with a focus on virtual commissioning and operator training systems.
Charles M. Fialkowski, C.F.S.E. (Certified Functional Safety Expert) has been a Safety Systems Specialist for more than 20 years, with a focus on Burner Manager (BMS), Fire and Gas (F&G) and high integrity pressure protection (HIPPS) solutions. He represents Siemens as a voting member of the ISA 84 committee, and ISA course developer and instructor for safety instrumented system (SIS) and BMS. Charles received his Electrical Engineering degree from Oklahoma State University and is currently the National Process Safety director with Siemens Industry, Inc.
Donald Kazak has over 25+ years' experience as a Process Control Engineer. Don received his BS in Electrical Engineering degree from Northern Illinois University. He has a background in both Discrete & Process manufacturing as a regional systems specialist for Siemens Industry, Inc.
Pamela Bruen Docherty, Life Sciences Industry Mngr, has over 20 years' experience in batch automation with fifteen of them focusing on pharma production. Pam earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and subsequently achieved a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University. In her role, Pam applies her knowledge of pharma to develop, implement and execute Siemens' solutions throughout the pharma market. Pam actively participates in the Oral Solid Dosage Community of Practice for International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE).
