The motor drawings reflect various terminal box sizes available for motors up to 7000HP and voltages up to 13800V. Use the Standard Main Terminal Box Table below to determine the standard main box size required by your basic rating information and select the dimension print under the appropriate heading - Rotatable means terminal box is mounted on the motor and can be rotated in 90-degree increments, Free-standing means terminal box is mounted separately from motor and requires customer to supply external support. Additional charges will apply for larger than Standard Main Terminal Box.

CI2 and CI3 boxes are cast-iron construction and FS1.5 box is fabricated steel construction. They are Rotatable.
FS2 through FS6 boxes are fabricated steel construction. They are Free-standing.
*For SH630 frame in these HP and voltage ranges, the FS1.5 box is utilized in lieu of CI2 or CI3.
**For all frames except the SH710/712 and SH714/716 frames. They utilize only the 1XF5 terminal box for all available ratings and voltages. The 1XF5 is a fabricated steel, free-standing terminal box .
