Siemens Technology Powers the Ship of the Year

The Norwegian offshore service vessel Skandi Aker, which is equipped with Siemens propulsion technology, was named Ship of the Year 2010 at the SMM trade show in Hamburg, Germany. The Skandi Aker was chosen because of its modern technology and uniqueness as the largest monohull subsea well intervention vessel.
