Siemens' standard enclosed drive offering provides the ease and convenience of ready-to-run pre-engineered solutions fully tested to provide superior performance. A broad range of options allows the drives to be configured for specific performance, application, and environmental needs.
Each cabinet drive typically includes a disconnect with through-the-door operator, short circuit protection, door-mounted operator panel, and basic or optional line side and load side components. Alternatively, some models are also available as floor standing enclosed chassis, which include the drive power electronics and controls only, and a more limited range of options. Equipment such as disconnect, short circuit protection and line side and load side components are provided externally, for example in a
motor control center. In all cases, the basic NEMA 1 enclosure may easily be upgraded to NEMA 1 filtered or NEMA 12 ventilated by the addition of air filters.
Stand-alone drive in wall-mount or floor-standing enclosures, based on the SINAMICS G120 non-regenerative power module PM240, or the Efficient Infeed power module PM250 capable of power regeneration to the supply system.
