| Sales release - Ultramat 23 for Biogas applicationBiogas produced from either anaerobic digestion or fermentation
process is a viable fuel product now used by many industries within the U.S. market place. Raw biogas is a wet gas mixture primarily
of methane, carbon dioxide & oxygen and can include trace levels of other constituents such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide &
some aromatics. The raw biogas is dehydrated and scrubbed in order to be a usable fuel gas for boilers, and for gensets (recip engine/generator)
that produce electricity to be sold or used directly. Hydrogen sulfide is undesirable in biogas fuel because it can damage the internal
parts of combustion engines, and boiler gas burners. The Ultramat 23 which can already measures the CH4, CO2, & O2, now is available
to include an electrochemical sensor for trace ppm measurement of hydrogen sulfide. | | |
