The new electronic non-contact safety switch for protective equipment is based on non-contact RFID transponder technology and offers comprehensive protection against interference, manipulation and defeat. The rugged and vibration-proof safety switch with cleaning agent-resistant plastic enclosure and high degree of protection up to IP69K is dimensioned for a long service life and application under extreme ambient conditions. It supports wear-free switching and covers a broad application area: From difficult to adjust, down to frequently opened and closed protective hoods, flaps or doors.

The magnetically operated switch SIRIUS 3SE6 is designed for attachment to movable protective equipment (hoods, flaps, doors, etc.). Evaluation is realized via a safety relay or connection to a bus system. The non-contact magnetically operated safety switches 3SE66 are characterized by their enclosed design with high degree of protection IP67. They are therefore particularly suited for areas subject to contamination, cleaning or disinfection conditions.

The electronic non-contact safety switch SIRIUS 3SE63 always consists of a pair: RFID switch and actuator. Thanks to the application of RFID (radio frequency identification) transponder technology, it offers various coding functions for clear assignment of the actuator to the switch. Three coding versions facilitate optimum adjustability to interference and manipulation protection. In connection with the Safety Integrated technology by Siemens, this switch represents an important component for safety-related applications.

Magnetic switches operate without contact and are ideal for monitoring protective doors. The reed contacts in the switching element are actuated by means of a coded switching magnet and are therefore especially tamper-proof.

Non-Contact Safety Switches SIRIUS Protective door with contactless safety switch
Do you want a simple way to create protective door applications? If so, the contactless safety switch is the right solution. The switch scores with its immunity to vibration. It is especially rugged, as it is available with a high degree of protection. It also features non-wear switching, which increases plant availability. The following movie shows a protective door application with a contactless safety switch pair being used in a plant. The switch is wired to a safety relay. In this way, the safey relay monitors the contactless safety switch. The plant reliably shuts down in the event of a hazard.
The switch is wired to a safety relay. But wiring to other evaluation units is also possible. For example, the SIRIUS 3RK3 modular safety system is suitable, as is a fail-safe controller.

The supplementary range of SIRIUS 3SE66/67 magnetically operated switches offers different options with regard to the mounting position of the switching magnet. This means that you have the option of installing the switching magnet either on the same level as the contact block or with a 90°offset.
